The subject matter of the book entitled “Health Care and the State of Health: An Empirical Study” has been divided into two parts. The first part deals with an introductory note, an overview of the status and health care in India, health status and determinants of health in India. The Second part deals with the types and extant of health facilities, determinants of health analysis of primary data and a concluding remark.
